What is text messaging (SMS)?

Text messaging, or Short Message Service (SMS), is a service offered by most wireless service providers and available on the vast majority of today's mobile phones. You can use it to send and receive short messages (up to 160 characters) to communicate with friends or get information from services like TexTrack.

Because text messaging fees depend on your particular wireless plan, please contact your wireless service provider for more information on text messaging charges.

How do I use TexTrack?

Simply sign up for an account, enter your tracking info, and you'll receive an email or text message when your package has been delivered.

How much does TexTrack cost?

It's absolutely FREE! However, keep in mind that your wireless provider may charge you. Contact your provider for more information on text messaging charges.

How many alerts can I have at one time?

You are limited to 10 email or text alerts. However, you can manually track up to 25 tracking numbers as part of our manual parcel tracking tool.

Do I need to register for TexTrack?

Yes, you will need to set up an account to begin tracking your UPS or FedEx packages. It's easy. Sign up today!

Will TexTrack ever send me unwanted text messages?

No. TexTrack will never send you any text messages that are not a part of an alert that you have willfully signed up for. We take your privacy seriously and have created a strict policy for that reason.

Will my phone number or account information be sold or used for other purposes?

No. Any personal information you provide is kept strictly confidential and will never be released to third parties. Your information will always stay with us.

Will TexTrack work with my service provider?

We are still in beta and currently support the following providers:

Does my mobile device need to have any special features to use TexTrack?

No. All you need is the ability to receive text messages (the majority of phones do) to use TexTrack. Just remember that your service provider may charge a fee for receiving text message.
